worst bike place ever... was cycling on b-line trail and got a flat tire dragged my bike there and bought a tube asked them if I could use a wrench to install the tube myself the did not lend me one for five minutes... instead they told me they'll do it for 8$. After they installed it for me I cycled back home and the next day I had a flat tire. I took the tube off of the bike and saw that the tube was ripped with a few inches because they did not install the tube properly even though they charged more than the tube itself to install it. I ordered a tube from amazon and installed it myself and been riding int for a month now without any problems.
Over the years, Salt Creek has been our go-to bike shop for repairs, maintenance and upgrades. These guys have grown in good ways.

The employee here was rude to me for no apparent reason at all. The only thing I wanted was some new brakes pads for my bike, and he had an attitude. I just ordered the parts online, and did the job myself. Salty attitude at Salt Creek Cycles. Not only does the guy have a horrible attitude, he obviously is a HORRIBLE BIKE MECHANIC. He adjusted my friends rear derailleur's lower limit screw improperly, and this caused the derailleur to shift right into the wheel spokes, immediately destroying the rear mech! What an incompetent jerk!! Boo! I do a better job myself. Terrible bike shop, with incompetent employees. That's 2-for-2 fail! I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN. Not even for parts. Go to Bike Smiths instead.
