Had a most enjoyable experience at the Estee Lauder counter today. April was so pleasant and upbeat. Any customer would be pleased to be helped by her.
Friendly, alert, helpful service in men's clothing. Cosmetics counter deserted for awhile, then super helpful assistant appeared. Store was tidy and clean, but confused by the battery of "For Sale" tickets. Two sales assistants (Victor and a lady in cosmetics) deserved 5 stars.
I finally approached a Macy's associate and was told that 1) they are trained to adjust watch bands and 2) they do it for Free. Zero dollars.
I drove all over town talking to jewelers and department stores to find someone with the skills and tools to do it.
Reason for visit: I bought a stainless steel watch band online for my favorite every day Citizen watch and needed to get it adjusted.
