One of the most organized pawn shops I have ever been in. Great prices and friendly staff to do business with. Right now they are having a promotion that does not charge you interest if you pick your item up in the first 30 days of the contract. Can't beat that!

Great place and friendly people. I was late on paying back my debt and they were nice enough to extend my loan for an extra week. From now on its the only pawn shop I'm going too. Thanks guys for the great service.
I hardly ever write google reviews, but Dane and the folks at Gold n Pawn put other pawn shops in the Bloomington area to shame. You will never get the stereotypical stuck up, conniving attitude from the folks at Gold n' Pawn that you do at disgrACE and Uncle Tom's Alley Cats. I had a model 12 that went in at $300 to begin with. I unfortunately had personal issues that made it impossible to repay the loan by 90 days, and was unable to contact Dane to let him know. The guy let me pay my loan out at 118 days, only charged me for 90 days, and hadn't even put it on the shelf 28 days over the loan period. He could have easily gotten 1200 dollars for the gun, but instead allowed me to buy back my gun at the same price I hawked it for (plus the $168 interest, of course.) If in the rare case that you might have trouble, always ask for Dane or his wife, they are the most humane pawnbrokers in Indiana. I've personally seen items on the shelves at a lower price than what the guy loaned out for, not because he doesn't know what hes doing, but because his customer-broker relationship is that outstanding when you become a regular customer there.
