Friday night before Thanksgiving week. Many students have already gone home. Visiting for football game on Saturday. Bar half empty, would not let us in because we were wearing opposing team’s apparel. Said was too crowded. Hung around to watch them let others in. Total BS. Booths and small bar. Not worth your time when have Kilroy’s and Brother’s nearby.
This has been my favorite restaurant in Bloomington for more than 20 years. I still love the place, even if the owners have made it clear that they hate poor people in Bloomington.
Came through Bloomington to watch some Hoosier basketball and stop here with the family. Service is immaculate, even for a college bar type place. Food is all great. We had the Sink Fries and several different kinds of sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed their food and experience. Will stop here every time I am in town.
Good service and atmosphere. The stromboli sandwiches we had were excellent. Great place to go.
I wouldn't even give this restaurant 1 star, but I have to in order to leave a review. The owner of Nicks is rude, disrespectful and not professional at all. We will NOT be coming back. Now as for all of my family and friends (which I am well known around Bloomington) I will let them know of my experience as well. (:
