Have rented from them 4-5 times. As of February 2013 they have grown very rude and "stand-offish". The woman who used to handle rentals must have left there and some offensive guy handles things. When I first called to get current rental rates he actually said "We don't do that anymore". Had to ask directly THREE times to get him to admit they even rented cars! Very bad feeling about this place, used to be a great place to rent cars. Rude, rude, rude.
I need a car. Enterprise and Budget/Avis both wanted a urine sample and notarized character references from all four of my grandparents to rent me a damn vehicle. But Campus Auto Rental still makes it easy! For a reasonable deposit on my debit car, and a cheap daily rate, they actually rented me a car. Enterprise and Budget are ridiculous. Thank you, capitalism, for giving us options.
The owner and people working there are very friendly, generous (giving a few extra hours here and there, not greedy) and great prices. I love this place.
