Most of the staff was nice. Food is horrible of course. Bed time too early along with dinner. Hard to communicate with a doctor through a computer. And the other doctor has told a patient to kill themselves while I was their. Doctor told me my only reason for being their was because I am a stuck up brat. Meds made me shake like crazy. And I was told I shouldn't have a phone for 3 months when that had nothing to do with while I was their. I was suicidal because of my family issues. But I guess taking my phone away was a good idea. Ok?

Drove 2 hours away to have our son whom was suicidal turned away because self harm and not feeling like dying everyday isn't good enough. Man was rude and not personable at all .

My mom was there for a week. When she arrived she had all of her prescriptions from home with her. When she was discharged and got home she did not have any of her home medication. They are located two hours away from her. We called and left three voicemails for April over a two-day period to inquire about her medications. April never returned any phone calls. Here we are three weeks later trying to get four days worth of her new medication called into the pharmacy until she can be seen by her family doctor. We were instructed for her to see a therapist and a psychiatrist who would manage her new medication. We saw them yesterday but she was only able to see a therapist and no actual dr. Therefore they could not refill her new prescription. So today nobody is willing to call 4 days of medication in to get her to her appointment next week. I think that is horrible management. Just going to let a psychiatric patient go without medication for four days.

My daughter has psoriasis and I brought her topical creams that were prescribed by her dermatologist. She was not allowed to have them. She asked if she could use them at the nurse station and was told not without a Dr. order from her psychiatrist that was treating her through their program. Understandable. What is not understandable is that when she was discharged they lost her medication. I tried repeatedly to call them and kept receiving no response. I went into the facility and they attempted to find her medication and never did. Now they won't even return my phone calls. I have left several messages and my information was supposed to be forwarded to a patient advocate which never was. Just be careful what you bring in. Don't bring in anything you want to get back. I'm also not sure the treatment provided to my daughter was the best. She's 12 and was put into the adolescent unit. I think a couple of the girls were a very negative influence on her. I was disgusted by some of the things I seen other girls writing in her journal. They were completely inappropriate comments and remarks.

when talking to the receptionist about this issue today her seen her doctor by now. Well we did and it was yesterday and the psychiatric doctor was not in. This was all set up by Bloomington and the medication was started by Bloomington the fact that they cannot call for days of medication in knowing what it can do by suddenly stopping the medication is ridiculous!

We even tried talking to medical records in an attempt to get records faxed to her doctor on call down here so that maybe they would call in the medication but we cannot get medical records on the phone either. I left a message for whoever April is but I don't expect her to call back considering three weeks ago when we called her for 2 days and left a voicemail asking her to please call and help us she still has never ever returned any of our phone calls, not even the one from three weeks ago.
