This hotel is in need of updating. When trying to close a door it will not shut completely and needs to be slammed. There are bugs located on the ceiling and dead on the floor. It's obvious they were not cleaned completely before they stay. They also forgot to clean our room, but they comped us one night out of the two night stay.
Jeff at the front desk was super friendly!! Super clean! Will stay here again.
Not bad for an inexpensive place to lay down your head for a night or two. The breakfast is not bad and is basic fare: MYO waffles, cold cereal coffee, juice, milk, yogurt cups, basic bagels and cream cheese. There is a pool and a hot tub. Looks well maintained but have not used on my two stays. The building and rooms are tired and show wear. Rooms are not very large. Bathrooms are small and well-worn. People on staff are friendly and helpful.
Super 8 Bloomington, IN always has great rates. They provide a clean pool and hot tub and have a great continental breakfast.
I was suppose to stay at this hotel for an IU basketball game, but unfortunately the first heavy snow of winter came. Driving 2 hours to Bloomington did not seem worth the risk, and I called the hotel to try to cancel my reservation (day of). Jeff was very understanding of the situation and talked his manager into not charging me for the room! I’m grateful for their hospitality and can only imagine how great they are when you stay there!
