This is a parent posting - first of all if you are unhappy with how you were treated by CS Property please report it to the Better Business Bureau. I am very upset with CS Property - kids recently moved out and as Google user posted a week ago don't expect any of your security deposit back - in the lease there is a non refundable cleaning charge of $150 so you definitely will not get that back. Then they give you a huge list of cleaning that needs to be done to get the rest of your security deposit back - my question is what is the $150 for if there is a huge cleaning check list to do before move out? So they charged $150 above and beyond the non refundable $150 because they said kids didn't sweep and wipe out the refrigerator - who is doing cleaning at that excessive fee the president? I was present at the move to help and the apartment was left in excellent condition. Another $399.00 of charges were tacked on for additional days of rent and the kids currently owe the property money. Sad that good college kids are treated so poorly.
They don’t answer your phone calls or your emails
Lived in Springmill for 2 years. The staff is courteous and maintenance was super fast and always got the job done. I did have an issue with pests but the management took care of it and after some miscommunication about how long the treatment took, they even footed the bill. I did have an issue that they didn't return all of my security deposit despite the apartment being spotless and offered no explanation for why. Springmill specifically, the heating and cooling sucks but at the price you pay, I think that's reasonable. Otherwise the apartments were quiet and I always felt safe.
Speedy Wrecker service and CSproperty seem to go out of there way to **** the residents
Aside from parking most other aspects of the apartment are tolerable for $6k a year. One major downside is that property managers sometimes schedule showings where they unlock your door at pretty unexpected times with little communication. One moment you're in the comfort of your home and then suddenly I'm presenting my living space to strangers and property manager??
Even when there are a majority of spaces available this tow worker gets completely tow happy (in this case the only car parked in our whole building.) I also see him taking photographs of peoples cars which seems unnecessary. When I first saw him, i thought he was trying to steal from residents. I always felt eager to ask "Hey man do you live here?" He was actually working not stealing. You might say some business models are equivalent to thievery.
Don’t rent with them you can find ways nicer companies to deal with . They suck
they took forever to give us back our deposit and they took some money from it for something we didn’t damage , it was damaged since we took the house and we told them so many times but they ignored us..
Don’t rent with this company, they’re good only with the owners not with the tenants ..
This company does not know how to treat their tenants. They are rude in every message that is sent and it feels like they are doing us a favor.
CSPropertyManagement has refused to replace my parking permit. Apparently, my name must be on the title of the car but I have a hard time convincing my girlfriend to officially share ownership of her car with me. Honestly why should she? It's honestly sad that CSProperty couldn't just give me the permit to begin with.
My girlfriend got towed at 5pm after only being parked 20 Minutes!! Had to park there to get my laundry. YES THERE IS NO GUEST PARKING! You have to park 4 blocks or more from the apartment to not be towed.
