We'd been out to the Sycamore Land Trust Amy Weingarten Branigan Preserve at Lake Monroe for a nice long hike. On the way home we stopped at Scenic View for an early dinner. Claire's Bloody Mary was not a good drink. For the price it should've been delish. Our dinners were pretty good and service was good too.
Over looks lake Monroe. Nice view. Good food. Great bloody Mary's. Also a hotel next door. Not sure of the name of the hotel.
Great view. Our service was great tonight. Food was very disappointing. Soggy Reuben. Odd tenderloin. We did not finish either. Formerly had Belgian beer but none now. Come for the view.
I love Scenic View! The setting is beautiful and the menu always has something that catches my eye! They have my favorite fries in Bloomington!
Arrived at 705 pm, we watched while others came in and were served while we weren't even approached. 730 the manager came and apologized but we still waited another 10 minutes before a waiter took our order of a simple view burger and 2 orders of fries. It was 8 pm before the food arrived. One batch of fries was cold. Had to ask for a refill of tea. The manager needs training in customer service. At very least we should have been offered a free appitizer. At most a free meal, we were offered nothing. When our order was taken it should have been placed in front of those that arrived after we did, absolutely nothing was done right with this meal. We have been here 5 times in as many weeks and have never had an experience such as this. Doubt we will return
