Staff is very friendly and accommodating, and I've never had a bad experience with them.
The butter chicken and rice were great and the other meal we ordered was good too. The paneer Naan was awful. The customer service sucks too. I ordered carry out for lunch and they dish it tightly packed so it’s impossible to eat when you’re ordering and heading to work. They didn’t give me silverware and when I called they just said you didn’t ask for it. I’ve ordered carry out many places and never had to ask for plastic ware. Especially during lunch rush when people aren’t getting carry out to take home. I will not be retiring here.
Good food if you're trying to try Indian cuisine for the first time, and also decent if you're a veteran. I usually come here for the buffet, but don't see much variety in the dishes offered. They generally only serve popular dishes like butter chicken and chicken tikka, but some more buffets including lamb/chicken biryani or rogan josh would be superb.
Great for a lunch buffet that won't break the bank. Food is good if not a little limited, though not enough to leave you wanting. A great variety of chutneys, my favorite is the onion chutney!
The food is pretty good, but personally I don't think it stands out from other Indian options in town. There are a lot of vegetarian options. However, every time I have been here the service has been lacking even when we were the only ones in the restaurant. Also, last time I ate here (Jan. 2017), my fiance found a piece of plastic in his food.
Amrit has the potential to be the best Indian food in town. However, as a longtime customer, their food—both in terms of overall quality and levels of spiciness—is extremely inconsistent. Half the time, their food is perfect. However, a "1" on the spiciness level can result in anything between a flavorless dish and something that tastes like a "6" (their highest level of spiciness)—even according to my boyfriend, who's a lover of all things hot. I enjoy a bit of heat to my food, but I always order the lowest level of spice, just because I never know what will arrive.
