Since I had the menus I skimmed over the food and immediately regretted my trip to steak and shake before hand because Steves has shakes for $3 icecream $1 plus loaded bacon cheese fries $3 jalapeno poppers loaded potatoes burgers chicken you name it. Remember this today bit I learned on my second visit believe me do not to get carried away ordering so much food thinking it'll be a skimpy little serving after a burger and loaded potatoes I had to turn down jalapeno poppers for the first time in my life
Steve's place is the ideal spot to have as a regular place where you are guaranteed to relax and have fun even if you come with friends or along. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The patrons make for a great crowd. The first time I was there I felt like I walked into a pool hall pub version of cheers. There's a good selection of beer and even better than that is the prices which ranged from $1.50- $2.25 and some of those fancy higher alcohol content which is $2.50-$3 Drinks are so affordable I had to double check to make sure one of the darling bartenders had not made a mistake when I paid the tab she handed me the menu to show me that every once in a while in life there are some things that sounds too good but really are true.

And then there's the pool hall 50¢ a game or you can rent a table for a flat time they have plenty of open tables with enough space so you are not wacked by a pool stick by someone such as myself who tends to forget to pay attention bystanders

Nice calm relaxed place! Good beer...good pool
The place has some real potential to be a place where you can avoid those uptight club scenes where it's packed with a bunch of snoods and have fun

Clean friendly family environment. Great place to play pool and have a cold beer without breaking the bank. Staff is friendly and pool tables are very nice.
The only thing I think it's missing is that theme song from cheers on the jute box
All in all its it's a nice joint and I'm considering one of the pool leagues
