Everything was good, service was fast and we used call ahead seating. I order my steak medium and it came out really bloody, definaly more rare that I was wanting. My server was super nice about it and sent it to be put back on the grill. It came back well done, but that's better then it was, and I'm not so picky that it bothered me much. Great food, great service, it always tastes good!
Place is busy but there are a lot of tables and service is still fast.
No matter how busy they are, I've always gotten good service and good food. Only one time was my steak over cooked. I didn't complain but my server noticed and took 10% off. Now that's good service!
Decent steaks. Place is very comfortable and there are a lot of items in the menu to choose from. The larger steaks are enormous and there are a number of sides to choose from. The place offers complementary peanuts and rolls. The rolls with the cinnamon butter spread makes any visit worth it.
I really enjoy the food at Texas Roadhouse. The west side location in Bloomington Indiana has recently renovated and looks very nice. One thing that is a big turn off for me about eating inside this restaurant is that it is always so LOUD. The music is turned up so loud that you can barely hear whomever you are eating with. For this very reason we typically use the carry out option. Which is nice, however your food isn't as good as it is in the restaurant since it obviously gets a little bit cool on the trip home. Don't get me wrong, it still tastes good and is worth using the service it just isn't as good as eating in the restaurant itself.
I would recommend this restaurant as the food is very good. Love the rolls!!
If you want to have a steak that's not at all bad, with some sides that also aren't bad, and atmosphere that is a bit embarrassing, here we go! They do food honest and clean, and their process is sound. Texas Roadhouse is a well oiled machine, so if you are looking for a solid meal but are too scared to find the beautiful locally owned places, throw in the towel (actually, keep it, might need it) and road-ho the night. It's easy and dependable. No complaints, no accolades.
