Very good authentic Greek food in an old home - service and ambience are terrific.
The fritto misto is a must try! I can't think of a better dish to nibble on over conversation on a Friday evening!
The patio setting was great! Special cocktail white grape gimlet FABULOUS!!Greek cheese appy, fresh tomatoe salad, homemade pita, all wonderful. Three of us had 3 entrees- tried all. The seared trout special was best- tasted roasted, great peppery flavor in sauce, paired perfectly with rose wine. The leg of lamb was ordered medium- came well done, and much over salted. The pasta special was average at best, and very small portion. Our server was wonderfully helpful and friendly but had trouble with our silverware--should bring appropriate utensils BEFORE each course and NEVER ask a customer to keep dirty utensils to wait on the next course. Lack of training on their manager's part. Restrooms also out of paper towels-- had a single white fabric kitchen towel by restroom sink. An FDA food prep NO-NO.
The bar at Topos 403 is a chic venue for a happy-hour with a special someone.
Excellent food and drink. Wonderful music of Monica Herzig when there. Highly recommend both!
Overall great potential but for now, stick to drinks and first 2 courses. Maybe try a night with music on their patio...
Very disappointing- my wife’s lamb shank was tasteless and my steak was served well done instead of medium rare. The steak was sent back and another was brought in a few minutes. It too was well done. The desert was wonderful and the grilled octopus appetizer was very tasty; but for $200 I expected the entree to prepared as ordered and be flavorful. This was our second time to TOPO’s - the first time was equally disappointing but we thought we would give it a second chance. We will not be giving it a third chance.
