Nice atmosphere, but had to share the two available menus with everyone in line. Toast took a lot of effort to saw through. Egg sandwich was undercooked so badly I left almost all on the plate.
Cute cafe, good food. The tea was good as well however the menu was limited. Overall liked this cafe. However, I warn potential costumers that I felt that the atmosphere here was hostile. It's eerily quite, not that that's bad it's just a tad off putting. The biggest red flag for me was the staff, who are rude and do not go out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. It doesn't hurt for staff to be kind and understanding to new customers who are unaware of how the cafe works.
This 5 star review is for the Barista who made me and my best girlfriend amazing espresso drinks. Thanks a lot Wall-e. Amazing oatmeal raisin cookies. Seriously.
Food was fine, nothing to write home about. Coffee refills are $1. Similar set to to Bakehouse - order & pay (with a tip!) @ counter, wait for food. Spent $35 on a waffle, bacon, eggs & toast, and avocado toast. Bacon was almost burnt and the claims of “a whole avocado” are not accurate, unless it’s the smallest avocado ever. Other breakfast places in Btown are better value
Visited this new place on the square downtown. I had the avocado toast which was delightful along with a side of bacon. The coffee was good. When you go in its a standard coffee shop where you order at the bar and then they bring drinks and food out to you. Definitely will go back.
