People at Social Security office in Bloomington Indiana are very helpful and kind. They are just wonderful.
The others are very nice and understanding. I don't understand how this man has a job.
Very nice and helpful staff.
Every staff of this office were kind and explained the process well.
I adopted my step-son, my wife called and asked what all she needed to get his ss card changed. She is very good at these things, once she gets there they tell her that she dose not have half of what she needs. If they would have told her exactly what she needs the first time it would have saved two hour and a half trips, because today she went back with everything and they were closed early!!! WTF does the place need to close early? Is there that few people in the country now that have social security numbers?
I've been receiving SSI benefits since about 2006 due to a lifelong, constant battle with anxiety. My caseworker, Mark, has not once been friendly to me, always either cutting me off while trying to answer one of his questions, or constantly sighs under his breathe. Today he starts raising his voice over what should have been an easy change of address. But this isn't the first time. This time, after being tired of his negative attitude towards me, a person who has a hard time with anxiety, I asked him if I can get a different caseworker. He immediately begins yelling, stating, "No, you absolutely cannot- We're understaffed the way it is!" I then stood up for myself and proceeded to tell him that THIS was the exact reason I contact state instead of him directly. I'm now awaiting a response from his supervisor, hopefully to see what I can do about this man, his always foul attitude to me since day one, and seeing if I can't get a copy of the phone conversation. He's clearly not qualified to work with people, or the computer software he's always yelling about. It's called mental anguish, Mark. You don't yell at someone who needs your help, especially when they have issues with anxiety!
