Matt, the owner of this shop, is one hell of a guy. In the past, while I've never actually bought a firearm from him myself, he has sold me plenty of gear. Whenever a mistake is made, he corrects it personally, regardless of which side of a deal the mistake was on. I've seen him help people out who had nothing, and I've seen him be fair to people he knows he could have taken for a ride. His shop stocks everything from holsters to howitzers, and you can't beat the selection of long guns anywhere in the city of Bloomington. Hell, he even donated to my daughter's cheer squad so they could get their uniforms this year. Great guy, great shop. Don't hesitate to stop here if you need anything tactical or uniform related.

Service here was excellent!! I've made several purchases, most small and Matt waited on me. Though my expenditure wasn't large, he took the time needed to ensure I got (ordered and off-the-shelf) the right product for the right money. Just excellent. I will shop here again!!

I have purchased several firearms from Matt at American Arms. I'm pleased with their prices and selection. If they didn't have what I needed they got it to me within a few days. It's nice that they have an in house gun smith and can do custom mods to my guns. Sometimes you have to wait in line to talk to Matt but it's worth the wait.
