Had been doing laundry here for about a month after moving. Brought in my guest bedding (1 light comforter and 2 sheets) yesterday and the older woman helped me get change and talked to me while I did my laundry in the normal top loader. Today I go in to do my regular bedding (same type of comforter and sheets) and she yelled at me for trying to use the exact same washer type that she helped me use the day before and for the past month... I'll just go somewhere else.
My go to for when I have a lot of laundry to catch up on. Large washers and dryers for comforters and just big loads in general.
Used this laundry service for the first time. The employee working over there was very helpful in assisting with the washers and dryers.
Came here soon after I moved into a place with no laundry. The facilities were okay, pretty standard laundry place. There were few seats and no tables so I worked on homework on the floor. The floor was dirty, so not having tables seems like an oversight in a college town.
Rude employees who talk trash about customers in their presence. Absolutely unacceptable.
I came back to this place once. An employee, who I assumed was the owner of the place, was making very disparaging comments about women and feminism to another customer as they were chatting. He repeatedly used the term "damn feminazis." While I respect the man's right to have a private, if sexist and offensive, opinion, I decided that I will no longer be using this laundromat. Likening women who believe in gender equality to the perpetrators of a horrible genocide is offensive, and as a single girl in there it felt a bit threatening. It seems completely unprofessional to speak about women in such a way when customers can hear.
