MD plumbing was contracted by my home warranty company and Donnie was friendly, but not very helpful. He said that there was an improper installation of my shower drain because silicone was present. He never told me where the leak was coming from and had no intentions on diagnosing the problem. After a month since their visit to my house, they still haven't filed their service report and left me hanging. I will not recommend them to anybody!

I had MD Plumbing come to a HUD property we were having inspected to de-winterize the property for the inspection. The technician was friendly and competent. He de-winterized the home in addition to making a small adjustment to the water heater to make it run more efficiently. They were also very accomodating of our schedule and the need to re-schedule the appointment to fit the seller's timelines. I will definitely hire them again if any plumbing work is needed.
Completely incompetent. Was quoted price of $80/hour for a plumber...only to later learn that MD does not believe that this means a LICENSED plumber should be doing the work. I paid $80/hour for a plumber's asst. to misdiagnose a problem and then to waste time (at $80/hour) trying to "fix" a problem he did not understand in the first place. Was eventually told that only way to fix problem was expensive repair that would need to involve tearing open a wall. MD told me that it would take a plumber and a plumber's asst ALL DAY to do this. I later hired a LICENSED plumber who fixed the problem (on July 4th...a holiday no less) for LESS money than MD charged. When I expressed my frustration with MD, the "owner" (a female whose name I can't recall) informed me that my problem had been "looked at by her husband...a licensed plumber...but repairs don't need to be done by a licensed plumber." Amazing. I am sharing this experience with my realtor and with other rental property owners so they do not make the same mistake that I did.
We were referred to MD Plumbing via our homeowner warranty company for a waste line clog and leak. We left a message at 6:30am and followed-up with a call at nearly 9am when we didn't receive a return call. The person who answered the phone said that he did not have the equipment to handle an upstairs clog. We later found out this was simply a drain snake. This company was not even interested in coming to the house and to attempt the work. Don't waste your time - move onto someone who actually wants to do business!
