Many of the cars in the parking lot are in disrepair and never move, but management doesn't seem to care. People throw garbage all around the dumpsters and it lies there, rotting, for weeks. Most residents don't clean up after their dogs, some of which are aggressive. Management sent around a letter once about the dog poop problem, but never followed up, so they obviously don't care about that, either.
The only reason that I've stayed here is that I can't afford the rent elsewhere in Bloomington, but I'll be out soon. Unless they make some major changes, I would not recommend this neighborhood to anyone.

I've lived at Knightridge for almost five years and I can't wait to leave. The other reviewer is correct that things were much better when it was owned by CFC Properties.
I have been living at Knightridge for four years. This was a nice place to live when I first moved here in 2013, but it has gone downhill completely since the Legacy Group bought the apartments a couple of years ago. The landscape is in complete disrepair. Broken lamp posts have been lying on the ground for months. Residents are loud, thoughtless, smoke constantly, and throw massive parties on the communal property, leaving behind cups and vomit. Dog poop is EVERYWHERE. When I first moved in, you could walk on the grass with your pet and not worry about stepping in poop, but now it is not possible to walk on the grass at all. Many residents do not pick up after their dogs, and the landlords don't do anything about it. One time, a neighbor's dog stepped in pooped and dragged it into the common foyer and stairwell. It stunk up the whole place for a couple of weeks before someone finally cleaned it. There was also once literal poop all over the floor in the common laundry room and in one of the dryers. I am not making this up. My fiancé, my dog, and I look forward to finally escaping from this place once our lease is up.
Nice quiet place but maintenance isn't very good.
I've had several sets of upstairs neighbors since moving in here. The first ones, when CFC owned the place, were fine. Every set since The Legacy Group took over has been incredibly loud and obnoxious, and management has not responded in any way to noise complaints.
Really nice and easy bigger than expected
The lamppost by my building has been broken and on the ground for over a year, maybe even two. Some of the lights in the parking lot only work sporadically, and although I've complained, the light in my building's entryway is always out. This means that it is very dark around my building and it feels unsafe at night.
The maintenance worker (I've only ever seen one!) is very nice, but they need more people working with him. It's obvious that management only wants to spend the bare minimum on maintenance. I've had many plumbing leaks and a couple of major appliance failures in the time I've lived here, and these issues were much better addressed under CFC.
