This is a great place place to live. Everyone is truly super nice and super helpful, always eager to help, always cheerful - and I mean that sincerely. There is a disconnect, however, where 'google' is concerned. The leasing office actually solicits online reviews from its residents/tenants - and I guess that's because there are many international tenants that may be looking at reviews online. Meadow Park Apartments is very conveniently located nearish to Indiana University - 5 or 10 minutes away depending on traffic; and the city bus has a lighted bus stop at Meadow Park Apartments with bus service directly to I.U.. This lighted city bus stops at Meadow Park Apartments also provides bus service to Bloomington High School North (the free public school bus does not have a stop at Meadow Park Apartments - high school students are expected to walk into a residential neighborhood a few blocks away and wait on a street corner - but that's actually okay because the city bus stops at Meadow Park Apartments - high school bus pass is 50% with school I.D. !). The complex is also located near a shopping mall and several shopping outlets - with city bus service. For those with vehicles, Meadow Park Apartments provides parking. Although it is convenient to the town's amenities - the apartments are in a beautiful wooded, natural landscaped area with some of the largest trees in Bloomington! The 'disconnect' with Google is that Google's information is inaccurate when it comes to Meadow Park Apartments! I 'googled' Meadow Park Apartments today - to check on the hours at the leasing office given that it's time to pay rent - I currently live at Meadow Park Apartments. Google said the leasing office was open at 5pm and would close at 6pm. I made out the rent checks and walked out there - and they're closed! There's a sign on the door that says they won't open until January 2, 2018! ! ! Fortunately they have a mail slot residents can use for paying rent, water, trash service, sewage and so on -- when the office is closed... So Google really can't be trusted with accurate information when it comes to hours and other particulars like that... but for what it's worth - the place is GREAT! (I would know - I live here.) Incidentally the U.S. Postal Service delivers mail to Meadow Park Apartments every day, including Sunday.
I lived in meadow park apartment for almost one year, everything was fine. Very nice and beautiful place with friendly staff.
Just if you are going to have roommate please be careful. Your roommate can have overnight guest for 14 consecutive days!

A family member lives here and it is a nice if a bit old apartment community. The space/rent value is very high and it has a bus stop for the Bloomington Transit 6 Route right by it which makes it easy for students to get to campus.
This is exactly what they told me when I complained about my roommate overnight guest: (Meadow Park residents are permitted a guest for up to 14 consecutive days)! And ridiculous part is that the guest can take break for one day and come back again for another 14 consecutive days!! Basically, if you have roommate she/he can have guest as long as they want without paying any money and the only thing you can do is to add the guest to your lease and live with them in small apartment but they will not accept that too because living free is what they want!

There were not many things outstanding about living in Meadow Park except for the very friendly, prompt staff and maintenance personnel. The property by itself has several issues. We have had several issues in our apartment over the last year. The major issues were the Dishwasher (which is still a hassle and so we dont use it), toilet flush has no pressure (have to flush few times wasting a lot of water), very very bad insulation (had electricity bills upto $350), ceiling peeled off in our bedroom due to a leak in AC and had contractors visiting our home 3 or 4 days to re plaster the ceiling among other little things such as loose cabinet doors. The area around the property is beautiful and is a very safe community.
