These apartments are very nice for the price. The rooms are spacious and the private bathrooms are awesome. We had a few issues when we first moved in but the management helped us resolve them. I was also told 2 different subleasing fees, but the management honored the lowest price I was told, which I greatly appreciated. The shuttles have also improved a lot this semester, running every 15-20 minutes instead of 45. The added amenities including the pool and workout facility make up for the apartment being a bit far from campus. It would be almost impossible to find an apartment as nice as these for as cheap as they are. I resigned my lease and I’m excited to stay here over the summer and next year.
Side note - The gym is okay, but if you are serious about lifting you should know that there is currently no squat rack.
The Village is a great place to live! The commute can be a little bit of a drag, but if you have a car, it shouldn't be a problem as it's only about a 5 minute drive to campus. There is also a great shuttle service provided which I have used several times. The Village also offers a variety of clean and well-kept amenities: gym, pool, spa, and study room. The apartments and townhomes themselves are well updated and clean. A great part about living here is that apartments come fully-furnished, so move in is way easier and CHEAPER. I have loved living at The Village thus far.
The Village offers comfortable, fun student-living with tons of amenities to accommodate a student’s busy and fun lifestyle. Apartments are comfortable, homey, and updated. The only downside to living at The Village is the location. Their bus system gets you around campus during the day with ease, but if you’re looking for easy accessibility to nightlife and weekend fun, I wouldn’t recommend the drive. However, if the party-life isn’t so much for you, this is the perfect place!
Living here has been great so far! This is the first year under current management, so disregard previous reviews. Every staff and maintenance worker has been wonderful and very helpful. I submitted a maintenance request for my squeaky bed and they came the next morning to fix it! The shuttles did only run ever 45 minutes at first. However, once management found out residents didn’t like that, they changed the running times and made a tracking app for us! Great amenities like the pool, tanning bed, gym and book nook that are very accessible! Living spaces are big and very nice. Would definitely recommend living here.
The apartments are very spacious, and I love not having to share bathrooms with my three roommates. The shuttle system has improved a lot over the past semester, due to management being responsive to the residents' feedback. The resident parking is mostly filled, but the guest parking (only a few feet away) always has a lot of availability.
